Expansion Microscopy Special Webinar by the Microbial Imaging Facility

25 Nov 2025 3:00pm - 4:00pm AEDT Online

The Microbial Imaging Facility (MIF) at the Australian Institute for Microbiology & Infection, UTS Faculty of Science, in collaboration with Microscopy Australia, invites you to an exciting webinar on Expansion Microscopy.

What is Expansion Microscopy?
Many biological investigations require 3D imaging of cells or tissues with nanoscale spatial resolution. Expansion microscopy is a chemical process that allows preserved biological specimens to be physically expanded in an isotropic fashion. This enables nanoscale imaging of biological specimens using conventional microscopes, decrowds biomolecules to support signal amplification and multiplexed readout chemistries, and makes specimens transparent.
