28 Oct 2021 2:00pm - 3:00pm AEDT, Online

In this webinar Janice Chan from Research Services at Curtin University Library will explore the Research Data Champion Program at Curtin University.

In 2021 Curtin University Library began the second year of the Research Data Champion (RDC) Program. The program aims to embed Research Data Management (RDM) knowledge and establish connections between the participating Research Data Champions (RDCs) and research support areas across the University. The program focuses on training, promotion and advocacy for research reproducibility; research data management good practice; data management planning; and FAIR principles. This webinar will discuss and compare the difference approaches to coordinate the 2020 and 2021 programs, the progress we have made so far, and finish with possible next steps.

This webinar is part of a Microscopy Australia series that that will explore the guiding principles of research data management, research data management tools, and how users and facilities can make their research data more FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). It occurs every two months and is hosted by Dr David Poger, Microscopy Australia’s research data manager. Please direct any questions to david.poger@micro.org.au
