The workshop will include an EDS Theory session, an introduction to the FlatQuad (FQ) system, and application examples. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a hands-on demonstration with the newly installed FQ demo unit. Please bring a sample if you would like to participate in the demonstration.
Dr. Jinhua Yang, an applications scientist from Bruker Singapore, will be a guest speaker. Dr Yang holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the National University of Singapore and brings over 10 years of research and development experience in the synthesis and characterisation of inorganic materials for electrochemical applications. Dr Yang’s expertise extends to advanced analytical instruments, including TEM, SEM, XPS, ICP-MS, FTIR, TGA, among others. He has published 23 papers, holds three patents, and is well-versed in material theory and characterization.
