Volume Imaging Australia Symposium

30 Jun - 3 Jul 2026 Online

VIS2026 is Volume Imaging Australia’s third national symposium, delivered as an online event bringing together researchers, infrastructure staff and technologists working in 3D volumetric imaging and analysis across all areas of science.

The program spans four core themes — light, electron, X‑ray and correlative volume imaging — with a strong emphasis on cross‑modality innovation, including advances in visualisation and data analysis. VIS2026 provides a platform to share approaches, challenges and emerging techniques across disciplines and imaging technologies.

Students and early career researchers are strongly encouraged to submit oral abstracts, and presentation prizes will be awarded across career stages. The online symposium runs 30 June – 3 July 2026, alongside an optional in‑person Volume EM Masterclass hosted separately at the University of Sydney.
