Four linked labs join the Microscopy Australia network

We are excited to announce four centres have joined Microscopy Australia as linked laboratories.

With the world in the process of tackling one of the greatest challenges of our generation, it is more important than ever to come together to share resources and expertise. The new capabilities and knowledge that these linked laboratories will bring to Microscopy Australia could not have come at a more crucial time and we look forward to having them on board.

“On behalf of Microscopy Australia, I am delighted to welcome the new Linked Labs:

  • Electron Microscopy Centre and the Cryo-EM Facility, The University of Wollongong
  • Central Science Laboratory – Microscopy & Microanalysis, The University of Tasmania
  • Deakin Advanced Characterisation Facility, Deakin University
  • Microbial Imaging Facility, The University of Technology Sydney

We look forward to learning and sharing with the staff at these facilities, through meetings, masterclasses, online workshops and eventually meeting in person at annual workshops and through staff exchange visits.” – Microscopy Australia CEO Prof. Julie Cairney
